Arizona legalized unlicensed concealed carry for all qualifying adults age 21+.
so far, there hasn't been any gun fights erupting in the streets.

lol @ arrogant biased article
and it just cut down on paperwork- the same people who are eligible to carry concealed with a permit just no longer have to file for said permit unless they want to travel to states with reciprocity.
Soo youre saying that its an amazing change that they didnt spend ~200 bucks each and file paperwork? Thats amazingly fucking stupid.
Edit: assuming costs are similar to here

1. i didn't even read the article. i pulled up one of the first google posts
2. yes, i know it doesnt do anything but eliminate paperwork and fees.
but when it comes to firearm purchase/possession regulation, moderates/leftists think that if the government isn't putting its nose in to every person's lives, that the country will fall a part.
its not a big deal for me, and possibly even you, but for people who think the government needs to regulate EVERYTHING, its a pretty big deal.
this is equivalent to Martin Luther nailing his 95 Theses on the Catholic Church to gun grabbers

well, point is, i've had UCF professors react negatively to hearing Bush legalizing licensed carry in national forests, or thinking that licensed concealed carry on campus would be a horrible thing, when 2 or 3 states already allow it legally.
when people who are left leaning here the word 'gun', their emotions get the better of them, despite the fact that the reality is, to some extents, government regulation does not always equate to safer environments, despite their costs.
this will be one more thing to show people on here who say "more guns=more violence" , or who complain about "reasonable regulations are necessary" (define "reasonable, lol [which is not everyone, but i've seen people say it]), that the permeation of violence can not be predicted solely from firearm possession

I'm just saying there is no real change in regulation here.
All it changes is those who would want to carry, but either wouldnt come off the cash, or take the time to get a permit, can now do so without having to un-lazy themselves. lol
Do ya really think I am on the left somewhere? I am just calling it as I see it- nothing changed but eliminating costs and paperwork... To some, thats a win, to me, its mehhh I will pay for a permit if I want one?

i know there is not substantive change in regulation. but tell that to left leaning individuals.
and no, i don't think you are that far to the left, but this thread wasn't meant solely for you, lol.
it was meant for OF, half of which is (pulling figures out my ass) is moderate, and a quarter of which is probably left leaning.
its a thread, not a PM exchange between you and i, LOL.
