    Not to rain an his parade, that vid was cool but, everyone in the marine corps is taught to shoot a 12 inch disc with open sights at 500 meters using a m16a4. With that rifle, sight, proper breathing, a monkey could do it if taught the correct technique.

    We both know that's not the case. Some people can shoot, some people can't. Just like some people can draw, some can't. Training and coaching can't do everything. To be an 85yo man with hands steady enough to shoot better then some professionals is quite amazing.

    yes it is but, my point is via training and knowledge of proper technique that wouldnt be possible. with current military weaponry a lot is possible even for someone that is not vary skilled (not saying that he isnt a great shot because he probably is)

    he for sure has skills, but also remember its not just him, he has a spotter telling him how to adjust his sights.

    the fact that he last shot his springfield back 1944, picked up a completely different one, and still shot at 300yds and hit center mass is still remarkable for an 85 year old guy
