I need someone to build a box for my truck. It's a chevy colorado, and I have 4 12's and two amps. It will be a tricky box to build, so prefer someone with experience. You guys/gals have a recommendation for a builder?

theres a few. i have plenty more and video's of these performing. ;)
nitro, PM me your phone number ;)
you've gotta be freaking kidding me there..your boxes are very amateur. not to mention those ports are exaggurated to ****...where did u get ur measurements and what frequencies are they tuned to? like i said, go to sound advice. we've got true custom work...and i don't have to post pictures of what they have. check the magazines. lol
you will pay a lil more tho...lemme tell u now. but u do get what u pay for.
wow seems like someone is hatin... good thing i sent my response in a pm... then again what do i know.. world records are nothing in the world of car audio lmao...
world record for spl? let's see them...then again, sound advice is aimed toward better sound quality...not abnoxious sound pressure levels. i'm def not hating, he was hating on sound advice first. being in the mobile biz for a while now i've seen good and not so good. just giving my opinion.
in iasca we took 3 bass boxing belt at finals. we had the loudet 2 sub bass racer in the world last year and we sold it.. this year we have the loudest 12 volt bass racer. sbn we took a few bass race championshps last yr we took a few. last year we had i believe the stock 2 record in iasca... sh** we have a 149.9 bass race car that break windshields at almost every show... and trust me i haver seen plenty of bad sounding systems and i have heard alot of good ones, and its not all about hi sound pressure cause we like the sound qaulity also. but why pay 3-400 bucks for a box at a shop when u can get better for less... trst me i have friends that own shops and i know the shop world;... im tryin to help him, if he thinks more $ is better ill charge him shop price for a box. but if he wants good ill charge him a good price for a good box..
and yes i am a new member im only came because i saw this post when someone else was on this forum so i thought i would offer the help
oh no, boxes are more expensive cause of labor. mdf is cheap... labor anywhere is expensive. but do fiberglass enclosures too...any we guarantee our work.
Most of those boxs are transition line aka a Tline. They are tuned. Between 30-37hz depending on the car and music that will be played. Tlines play very well from about 25hz to about 65. But I'm sure you already know all this. Any way most of the setups you see above are between 2500-6000watts and the subs call for large port area hince the large ports. But clayton can decide what to go with won't hurt my feelns at all. Best of luck to you and you have my number.
orangecounty knows his stuff and nitro_freak1 they both do good work.i don't post much but i read alot so i can voch for them both on their work.
