Not sure about that headunit specificially, but I know on many Pioneer CD players, you access a main feature menu by actually turning the unit off, then holding down the FUNCTION button. After a few seconds, a feature comes up, and then you (I think) tap FUNCTION to select different features and then use the arrow buttons or joystick knob to adjust that function or turn it on and off. Usually, one of those functions is labeled AUX 1, and that's what you have to turn on to activate the on-board auxillary input. There is also usually an AUX 2 feature, and that is usually to activate an auxillary input if you have a dedicated aux-converter hooked into the IP bus port in the back (the IP bus port is the jack that allows you to hook up satellite radio, CD changer, or other devices directly to the unit).
I know that this is an in-dash mobile video unit and not just a CD player, so the operation might be a little different. If turning it off and holding down a FUNCTION button doesn't do anything, then I would just turn it on and go through the options screens and try to find one labeled SET UP or something like that. It's been a long time since I had my hands on one of these units.
And when I came to, I had a VISION! A REVELATION! A PICTURE IN MY HEAD! A picture of THIS! The FLUX CAPACITOR!
