Wastegate? Srt4

Currently just bought a 04 srt4. Had an agp wastegate and a boost controller next to each other. Took it to Howard's House to check it out. (they removed the boost controller) Because I was boosting well over 22+psi on stock turbo and was surging.
Loosened the adjuster nut and it was back to stock psi and everything was fine.

Fast forward two days later and its making the surging sound/movement (while on boost 22psi+) on my way to work.

My questions is there a way to make it stay at stock psi without having to adjust it again if its the same issue?

Its either that nut tightens itself which realistically doesn't make sense or I have a boost leak? How do I check for that?

It's the rod end that is used to adjust I believe, the jamb nut locks in the set adjustment. To be honest, adjusting the amount of boost is a trial and error kind of thing when adjusting the rod end. Also, there are two springs that are usually included when you buy the AGP WG, a 15lb. and 19lb. spring. I am guessing the guy had the 19lb. spring in. But maybe getting the proper spring and adjusting it would be fine??

Lol to tell you the truth I have no idea what the prior owner has done. he put a boost controller connected to the wastegate wtf

Well its a little too late for that. It only had a boost controller an apg wastegate and a apg fmic. So it is relatively stock

Trying to differentiate the difference between a boost leak and suging. I am however loving the car when its at 100% normal

Car has a new paint job on it. Getting rid of radio and putting my alpine XDA 100 in it

Very nice, I am going to have to take a look at the BOV, is it a hardpipe or just an adapter with HKS flange? I was looking into both, but not sure.

More than likely is, either way is a good way to hear a nice BOV. I am looking into getting an adapter flange with a Greddy Type S. I am just going to keep putting parts onto it until someone buys it lol!

Did you buy this off a spanish kid? I think I remember seeing this car at Delirium and it was getting a AFC instead cause the kid wanted to spray a 100 shot. I was talking to him while I was there and he told me he goes to JoTech and Delirium alot.

Yes it was a Spanish kid but hes best friend with one of the techs there. He never did put the 100 shot in. He wanted to go 6262 or something but never had the funds there

Car fax showed me that this car was in a little accident. Left side looks to be repainted and side mirror was replaced. It scrapped against a divider on the hwy and was towed.

My jamb nut was not tighted -.- I figured it out. And Shibby I texted you and you never texted me back. I still has your network adapater
