93 octane sticker on car

what's up with that. and all i see it on is honda's, not hating on honda or anything but thats all i've seen it on. they put it on the back window on the driver side, is that a new trend there starting or something. u guys know what im talking bout right, its the little yellow sticker thats on the gas pumps, i guess they peel it off and put it on there cars. ohh well what ever float there boat.

I guess it means they waste money on expensive gas for nothing with a low compression motor designed for 87 octane? Or maybe they think higher octane gas means more power?

10.4:1....is that low?....well i gues its not 12 or anything....but ya, i dont think theres any point to putting that on your window. i believe that ivanito is right...thats one of them attention things.

soarerTT: and i will continue to waste money on that expensive gas, it makes me feel "safe" lol

well i woudlnt say most, cause i dont kno what the compression is on his sc.....but i think it would be obvious that we have higher compression due to the fact that we(honda) are not turbocharged

I've got an 87 octane sticker on my truck, but it's behind the gas flap. Could've had a 93, but I gotts to keep it real, yo.

Didn't you know? Those stickers add horsepower. Like 15 hp for the 93 octane stickers.

Honda compression is usually 10:1 or 10.5:1.

have you ever had a honda and put 89 in it? it doesnt run right. and for some of the new hondas i think that you have to. my step mother got a new accord and she put 89 in it all the time and it smelt like raw eggs all the time and didnt run that well, i told her to put 93 in it and the smell is gone and it runs like a champ. and i kno that preludes also have the same problem.

ummm mine is supposed to only have premium in it but i put 89 or whatever midgrade is. if u put 87/regular in a prelude it will knock and bog out.

2jzge has 10:something compression, 93 octane only. If u put 87 in it, the car runs like complete ass and is almost undriveable

^^ ok but the motors me spotlight and hern have are 10.4:1 N/A and 93 is a must if not we bog which means no power, but yeah i had that sticker on my car but i started seeing all these douchbags with them and i replaced it with a handicapp dj sticker

i had it on there cause it was a plastic tag not the sticker but again once i noticed that all these other cars had it i peeled it off

took you long enought to figure out your own compression ratio......

93 only? Ive had 100, 110, and c-16. your on crack. I've had 89 in it one time and it ran fine.

Theres all kinds of pointless things people do. If I were to post everything I thought was pointless and stupid i'd have thousands and thousands of posts on here.
