What to use when Cleaning you Powder coated part!

When Cleaning any powder coated part please use a mild detergent like dawn dish soap or car soap on the part. If you would not use it on the paint on your car don't use it on powder coat. Powder coat is only a plastic the forms around the part.


Heres what will happen.

Before Lexus of Orlando service used a harsh Cleaner on the motor to degrease.



After Lexus of orlando Service use there cleaner on the covers!

Had a shop use an acid based wash on the rims you powder coated for me a couple years ago, my silver wheels came back white!
Definitely be careful what you wash the parts with!

You can use Iron-x since it has a neutral pH but make sure you follow instructions
