my brother jus finished rebuilding his 2.3 turbo mustang runs beautiful but he has a leak and its coming from his blowoff valve its brand new any clue why its leaking?...............sometimes the boost stays at 12-13 pounds but other times it drops to at least 6 pounds

the spring in the valve needs to be more stiff,if it is leaking from there,add a few washers to take up space or buy a stiffer spring

you can try the spacer idea, to help stiffen the spring. is the car originally turboed, or has it been converted/swapped? is it still running the VAM? if so is the BOV a resurculating bypass valve?
i have an 86 SVO and just installed a FMIC with an RFL BOV and have had nothing but issues with it, im changing mine out for a bosch 110 bypass valve, and resurculating it.

you sure its the bov? could be a faulty wastegate if its happening intermittently.
