Does anyone know of any peformance packages for my 1989 Mustang GT that are made specifically for turbocharged/supercharged applications? Which incldes cam/heads/manifolds/etc and might possibly help lower compression a bit?

You could try and pick Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords magazine, or a copy of 5.0 Mustang Magazine...They have a ****load of ad's. I'm pretty sure you could find somthing by just glancing at it for a second..

First things first, what is your power goal? RWHP or BHP will do.
1995 Mustang GT Convertible
1991 Mustang LX Hatch
1994 Suzuki GSX750F Katana
Also, how many miles are on the car and what is your budget?
Just a dreamer for now.
Excellent questions as well, but I think the thread starter has ditched us.Originally Posted by Beau

So lets say I had a 91 notch with 175k
A new block, rebuilt t-5, 4.10's,, long tube headers, xpipes, uper, lower control arms, afr heads, cai, 70mm T.b., 5 lug conversion....what kind of times can I expect with this set up?
What cam duration would you guy's recomend to go with? What would you think If I were to go with direct port nitrous? Can I go with 285 tires without messing around with anything else?
thanks for any replies...I am only asking for future refrence I just want to get an idea..
thanks...

I think the 70mm TB is more than you need, but won't hurt anything either. Does that combo have a stock intake manifold and MAF? With a 75mm MAF and Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold and stock cam I'd guess around 265-275rwhp. Add an average street cam and probably get around 300-315rwhp. I had a similar combo to that with the Crower 15512 cam and made around 300rwhp based on my 108mph trap speed with 3.73 gears. I think the duration on that cam was around 225 or 230, can't remember. .498/.512 lift with 1.6 ratio rockers with slightly more duration on the exhaust lobe. A 100 shot of nitrous on a rebuilt 302 wouldn't be a problem with forged pistons, probably go larger with room to spare, but why risk it? IIRC, you can fit 285's with the quad shocks removed and rolling the fender lip if the offset is right on the wheels and you don't go any larger than a 25" outside diameter. Don't forget to upgrade your clutch.Originally Posted by JDM WHORE

Probably a 306 w/ 9:1 compression, 1 3/4 inch long tubes, 3 inch exhaust to the tips, Edelbrock RPM intake, 75mm TB 90mm MAF, Paxton Novi 2000 blower, AFR 185 heads, 4:10 gears, built AOD or maybe a C4. Should be good for 9's. Of course the chassis will be prepared for the task, brakes upgraded, and a roll cage as well. The outside will look totally stock of course.
Just rambling...
