I might order some of these. the only other "cheap" mag I'd use is a chip mccormick 8rd but those are 18 each.

seems like they like kimber and sw but RI's hate em

they have some kind of formula you can look up on their site. it calculates based on weight of product and address being shipped to

          pre-range report:
          -mags came in feeling greasing
-they slide in my gun about 70% of the way easily, than get harder to lock in place, force is required
-with unloaded mags, its harder to release the barrel via left slide release than when loaded

-ive heard they dont cycle hallow points that well.

all of this was for a Springfield TRP Operator. how it effects your different 1911s may vary.

next week, ill head out to the range and report back on how they function

and fyi, shipping came out to less than 8$/mag.

if these cycle well, itll beat paying 15$+ for other mags.

                range report: mags worked great

used 50 rnds of wwb (cheap and dirty ammo), and 14 rounds some generic hallowpoint.

for 8$/mag after shipping, these are a great buy.

                  Old thread, but new info:

after 5 years, and probably 200 rounds through each mag, 3/4 have problems feeding the last round, and fail to lock the slide back.

I imagine I might be able to rejuvenate the springs by stretching them out and putting them back in, but i havent tried this yet.

Overall, for $6, i would buy them again in a heart beat.
