    i believe if you bother to read sometimes, you might realize some things.

    As of tonight, we have now made 141 FULL dyno pulls since installing the turbo. And over 20 of those were over 750rwhp.

    It blew up on Thursday.

    The T-76 that is.

    The stock 125,000 mile LS1 block is still doing fine.

    Power curve???

    700HP at 4400
    775HP at 4900
    725HP at 6000

    They are still trying to blow the motor up.

    That is on a dyno though. The real test will be when it sees street or track time. If it can survive track abuse then that is sick.

    Why is that????

    The motor wont take any more abuse on a dyno vs the track. Only the rest of the drivetrain will. The track opens up there in two weeks.

    Expect 9 second passes out of it.

    So you don't think going down the track puts more stress on the motor then on a dyno? Do you think any dyno even a mustang dyno will ever put the load that a car sees on the street?

    I do expect 9 second passes out of it. I'm not saying it won't be fast I just wonder how long it will last once it starts seing some track time. Either way who really knows. The only ones that will know are them.

    Thats what they are trying to figure out.
    As far as total load, no a dyno will not put the full load as pavement will. Its close that the small additional stress will more than likely not affect it at all.

    they have a dynojet, that motor isn't under a lot of load....

    Put it on the track and it'll blow, if it hasn't already.

    Can someone edumacated me on what those two silver looking blocks at the left of the pic are? I'm guessing Air to Water Intercooler? And that fan on small copper piping is that just an oil cooler?

    Man that is one nasty LS1... I don't think it'll blow on the track. I just hope the drivetrain can handle all that power. :grin:
