Not the Sega version dammit. Any thoughts and opinions on Hyundai's V8 Sedan? Looks decent to me. Would I buy/own one...ehhh maybe.

Every company has to start somewhere. Hyundai is well on their way to being the 5th largest automaker in the world. And if you've taken the time to look, Kia is moving forward as well. I am sure in the future Hyundai will be the luxury brand and Kia will be the regular brand.
Their warranty is one of the best on the market and their quality has increased. They are targeting Toyota/Lexus and the ad(s) blatantly reflect it. While I would admit it is a bold move and they may have a ways to go before they are on that level, I think its possible.
The Genesis is a sweet looking sedan. Did they release specs yet on the motor? I haven't kept up on it for a couple weeks. Even the new Tibby coming out looks promising with it's RWD platform. I think they plan on offering a V8 as well. I certainly wouldn't write-off Hyundai from the list of cars to buy.
vGc floss more ice than Smirnoff.

The New Genesis coupe will have a 200+ hp turbo i4 and an optional 3.8 v-6 with over 300 HP. With RWD and a fully independent suspension (a la M3), the Genesis will be a big performer with a lot to offer with a starting price of under 25k. It is aimed directly at the Ford Mustang GT, with more power coming from a more economical engine. The 4 door sedan will offer the 3.8 v-6 or the optional 368 hp v-8, a Hyundai first. Both the coupe and sedan look extremely promising, and I can't wait for them to come out; if money permits, might trade my 07 tibby up for one of the coupes.
2007 Hyundai Tiburon "Project KnightMare"- my slow but sexy stock (for now) daily driven pantie dropper- 15.1@92

What can I say, I'm a sucker for underdogs.
