does any one have

a plasma TV,and have noticed how ridiculously hot it gets in that room?
Is there anything to make it cooler or some sort of cooling system?
I know i can turn down the A/C in the house,but that doesnt solve how hot the TV itself gets.
If anyone knows what i can do, i would appreciate it.

you cant really help it. a fan will just spread the heat. is it always on? or does it get hot when its on when your watching tv like normal? if so youre still SOL. sorry.

My center LCD monitor screen is always 105ish on my temp gun. My LCD TV is always over 100.

dip it in the pool for aobut 5.3 seconds and it should be cool enough do it like every 8 hours

if u dont have a pool just use the water hose

i used my temp gun tonight just to see how hot it got on top where the heat comes out and it registered 148.lol

Yeah man in my living room in my VA apartment i have a 56" LCD and that shit makes it fvcking hot

yeah.... there's some LCD's/Plasma's that don't get too hot.... next time you do decide to shop for a tv.... feel the top area of the plasma, or the LCD itself... some run much cooler than others.... i personally didnt' care though, i just bought the more nicest tv that was on sale at the time

lol u think that's bad? try using a desktop+360+reciever in your room.... i think sometimes my room hits 90+! i gotta shut everything off or put it on timing so i dont wake up at 6-7am pissed off

Yeah, plasma TV's normally run hot... usually hotter than LCD's.

Yeah same problem with mine... 42" westing house lcd... that with the xbox 360, surround sound, and laptop being on make the room jump like 5-15 degrees -.-
