It says
The Church Street Car Show
The first Saturday of every month, Church Street District hosts the premier event for car enthusiasts around Central Florida – The Church Street Car Show. Featuring everything from classics to customs, the CSCS runs from noon to 4 pm in the heart of downtown Orlando. Each month there are over $2,000 in prizes, great raffle prizes and discounts for participants and spectators at restaurants and venues around the District.
For more information about taking part in an upcoming event, download the application using the link below.
So it looks like its open to all kinds of cars. The question is.... Is the "import" scene gonna participate enough to make a strong or dominating presence. Or are they going to be picky about participants and favor classics. We dont know.

I believe its by the two sisters restaurant. They shut down the street saw alot of classics and bikes. They been trying to make down town kissimmmee more popular. There is some new businesses that opened up there the last few years.Ive takin alot of photo's around there.
It's part of the new plan to turn Church Street into a "street party" or "street fair". They passed legislation allowing the street to be closed on the other side of the track/by the fountain, so they'll likely look to bring events like this to town to get more of the old crowd back to Church St (especially now that the Magic are out of season). Expect something like old-town, downtown.

The site says "Featuring everything from classics to customs." Looking at the registration form you have to submit a picture in order to be selected to participate. Interesting.

I highly doubt that if they are going to turn away import cars if the majority of registering cars are import cars. Even if they prefer classics (which we dont know for sure yet) Best thing to do is to register in groups and see what happens. Im trying to get a hold of them to see if they want to add models

FS: Racing Hart RS721 - Will fit Lexus, Infiniti, etc.
I'd be skeptical that they're looking for models, they're trying to get rid of the "Makos girls on the street" vibe that many older people find as turn off for the current church street on the other side of the tracks. That being said I don't see them turning away import cars, as long as they're tasteful.

Is there a link for the site sponsoring this?
I am good friends with the people that run red top productions. They are the ones that put on the sunday farmers market and other various events around downtown. The car show as far as space goes, is gonna start at Orange and go all the way to where the clubs end on church st. From what they told me. They are planning on eventually extend it to under I4 but the city wants to charge them an arm and a leg to use that space since its metered parking. It's gonna be every first Saturday of the month from 12-5 and yes, imports are welcome!
UNDER I-4 would make it better cause its covered

Last time I was over there, you could not even walk around without having to pay a parking fee.....looks like the city knows what they are doing..$......it might be cheaper to enter the car show.....LOL....as a way of looking at the car show.....
Picture before entering? I have been to hot rod meets in another place where they enter Rat Rods, but was told my car was not eligible since it had primer on it at that time........LOL
None of this is worth getting upset about. Human behavior is interesting..... LOL Keep us posted on what you learn.-Bob
