LS1 Rx-7 question

I have seen some Rx-7s with LS1s in them and i was wondering as to what goes into it.

like if you have an Rx-7 and put an LS1 in it would you still have everything like AC and power steering ect

or if you know a forum i could read up about it on

LOL Remember, God Created the LS1 & 2, then created the 2JZ and god watched as with a Quick Spool of the Turbo, the 2JZ destroyed the LS1 & 2.

Any shop with a mechanic with a head on his sholders can easily have the lines made to connect the LS1 AC and P/S pumps to the RX7's systems. Said hoses are high pressure hoses with special ends, and i wouldn't expect to pay less then $200 for them.

Agreed on the beautiful car statement... had a yellow r1 years ago which I sold..... only way I would consider another fd would be with an ugly engine just like my fc is getting right now

I've owned, worked on, driven and tuned lots of stuff. Hell had a 850 rwhp supra that had gone low 10's when it had only 650 rwhp and this is what I am choosing to build this time around, think about it, and I do mean THINK and you'll see that a motor that can do 500+ hp na and over 300 lbft to the tire by 3000 rpm and have a 4000+ rpm wide powerband with no penalty in weight is really a smart choice. All this while getting over 20 mpg and parts that can be had at the local corner store.....

Just imagine that powerband in a 2600-2800 lb car with near perfect weight distribution. That's 10 second quarters and road racing fun day in and day out, it's like a poor mans C6 ZO6 for a fraction of the cost.Still leaves the option of FI or big cubes too if your aim is purely straight line or highway fun. To each his own....

If you ever heard of Eric Christansen(BNO Performance), he does some AMAZING work out of Edgewater, bigggg HP american stuff. He kept the damage to his shop to show customers to STAND FAR AWAY when you dyno a car when a driveshaft breaks. The only thing that stopped it from hurting people was the bulletproof glass to the viewing area, he leaves it shattered (but recovered by another piece).

even though it a 240, its still a cool vid and shows how versital the lsx motors are, the ls1 and t56 is 125 lbs lighter than just the ka motor!

Horsepower overcomes weight. If your car is slow, add more HP. Removing powersteering, a/c, interior is stupid.. thats just my opinion.

That applies to straight line stuff but not so much in any other area.
