Did 104.1 change their music format?

I know 104.1 is a talk station in the day, but at night they would usually play classic and modern alternative music. Well tonight, they were playing classic rock. Anyone know if that is a permanent change or just some kind of special event?

Yeah, I heard Pink Floyd and Ted Nugent last night, and earlier tonight I briefly turned it on and heard the Beatles.

It's a shame if they did switch, because I liked the alternative format. I have XM in the car so it's no problem there, but in my apartment I just have plain ol' AM and FM.

The Monsters just said that wtks isn't doing the Best of shows during the weekend anymore. They are playing classical rock now.

Yeah they also killed 2 guys 1 sports show and Sunday Morning Coming down which I usually had cranked up..

We already have 96.5 over there we don't need two classic rock stations. How many times am I going to have to hear Stairway to Heaven?

I actually liked 2 guys 1 sports show but I rarely listened to it... I usd to catch it more when I worked at BH because it always fell during my lunch break.

Yeah. Monsters were saying it was hard to sell Ad space during the best of shows which I can understand.

I love the Sunday Morning Coming Down format... But no problem, I have a few Johnny Cash albums of my own.. That will maybe hold me over...

Yep, it's a permanent change to Classic Rock Weekends on Real Radio 104.1.

There's always WPRK-FM 91.5.
I'm on Fridays 5-7pm. d=)

Well, that sux about 104.1. I really liked their old music format, too. I can listen to some classic rock, but we already have 96.5, and 98.9 for that matter, which also plays some classic rock. What they had was different, and now they ruined it.

I'll have to give 91.5 a try. Isn't that the Rollins College station? Do they have alternate music all the time, or do they change formats throughout the day and week?

It is the Rollins station and they change format when the DJ changes. so they are always changing format.
