Coming back home to Fla. but first time in Orlando

Hey guys. I just spent the last 3 years in the Baltimore/D.C. area but I'm moving to O-town in December. I just wanted to say hello bc although I'm a native south Floridian (26 years) I don't know much about Orlando. So needless to say I'll probably be making this page my new homepage in a couple of months. Getting outta here just in time as I have a feeling this coming winters gonna be brutal.

I don't have a job lined up yet but I've worked some bars and clubs in both D.C. and B-more and just in the past 3 years I've met people from more places on the planet than I knew existed. How are the clubs in downtown Orlando? Anybody in that industry have any tips for landing a job?

I also love to surf. I was a little depressed up there bc I was so far inland and the beaches are so trashed. Any surfers here? I'll be around 528 and 417. How far is it to Cocoa? I hear 2nd light is a pretty good break during most swells.

Lastly, I'm a gear head at heart too. I only drive a lowly Scion tC for the time being because its so reliable, costs next to nothing to maintain and its easy to work on. But a long time ago I used to have a red 1995 3000GT twin turbo. This was JUST as the Evo's and Subies started pouring into the market so back then even at 12 pounds of boost that thing was a monster on surface streets. I'll probably be in the market for one once I get settled in down there bc man, I miss that car.

Cocoa is about an hour from Orl, so you'll be even closer if you out by 528 & 417.
Don't know anything about clubs, I'm sure some regular club go-ers will chime in.

It was a red, second gen. pretty much stock. Exactly like this one.....

I've looked through the auto forums. There seems to be a ton of DSM's and Evo's running around. Is there any kind of 3000gt/Stealth contingent?
