Right... (cliffs) conversation went from FDA wanting to make sure that improper advice is not given to the government is going to regulate financial advice apps. Then to blaming the FDA from preventing potentially fatal medicines from reacting the market. Then they both agreeing that the FDA's mission is to expand the FDA's mission.

Title of both the video and this thread are misleading. The FDA only stated they had interest in monitoring the Medical Apps. Without adding the apocalyptic spin of FOX, does that really sound awful?

i didn't link the video because its fox news, i linked the video to a clip of a fox news interview of a Reason correspondent. for the most part, i view Reason as a good police of government abuses.

and then i tried to find the first "reliable" news source talking about the situation, which turned up ABC:

"The FDA says it will begin regulating a handful of these programs that pose the greatest risk if they don't work appropriately."

but i agree, i don't think i created the thread title appropriately. i would like to keep the vid though.
