I have tossed around the idea of doing a photowalk, but instead of using dSLR's, 35mm, etc., we would all use point-and-shoot digitals under 30 dollar value, like the free Sony Mavica FD100 I got today, which records to 3.5" floppy drive and Sony MemoryStick Pro, with a whopping 4mb stick installed.
Think of it as the 24 Hours of LeMons but with cameras and for a couple of hours max.
Probably wouldn't want to do this at night for obvious reasons. Is there any interest for this? Cell phone cameras allowed with the exception of smart phones.
No megapixel limit, but the 30-dollar cap really limits how big of a picture you could take. This Mavica is a 1.2mp.
If there is serious interest in this I may be able to procure more similar cameras, they pop in from time to time where I work.
