Will we ever see a domestic/import braket race program at CFRC? Here's a link to some pics of my race car project in progress. It don't need paint to run. :)

You only say that cause you are not good at it. Cant cut a tree, cant run consistantly. It's easier to talk the talk than to walk the walk. Come down to lakeland and show us slow guys with mustangs how quick your rice mobile is. There will always be someone with more money to spend to make their import/domestic faster than yours. Bracket racing evens the playing field and makes it a driver and car combination to win. Those that have more money than brains can street race or heads up race. I prefer bracket racing or index racing. Different strokes for different folks. You need to live and let live and not speak out of your A$$ but using your brain first if you have one.

How do you know he doesnt? But im willing to bet im the only other person other then you with a NHRA license. I run Super Pro ET and Stock eliminator. Have you heard of the Southern Stock Super Stock Association? I also race in that. If your not a member and have a car that falls in the NHRA Stock or Super Stock class come on out and show everyone up. You know just as well as me it doesnt matter how fast or slow your car is in those classes.

Shane, I'm very familiar with your organization, they are a bunch of grate guys. They hold a race here at Lakeland once in a while, at least once a year. Once a member, they can fit you in one category or another no matter what mods you have. Not really a stock/super stock deal by NHRA standards. But I like it anyway. Hope to see you at the next race here. What car do you run? I as well as my neighbor (the starter at Lakeland) will try and get in on the next race here.

If that's what he meant, I take my negative remarks back. I was in another site where the same FTW..... was meant to mean for the woosys. So my apology for misunderstanding. You're right, I don't know all the internet slangs and probably never will since I don't live in front of my computer or post thousands of messages like I see here by some. My misunderstanding. As for ricers, Yeah it was uncalled for. As you can see I own american, japaneese and european cars and generally like all cars. Thanks for setting me straight.

Great, Im glad our association is getting out there. My father and Jim Woods are the founder of it and has been going great. We just got back from Reynolds, GA at Silver Dollar. We dont fit you into a category based on your mods, we did that once for a guy with a Firebird to get a few more members but have stopped since we have grown so well. You have to qualify in either NHRA/IHRA Stock or Super Stock with no exceptions.
I run either a 04 Dodge Neon SRT4 in AF/S or a 78 Plymouth Roadrunner in H/SA. For Super Pro ET I run my ricer burner 94 Supra. I have only ran that once at a race, it doesnt seem to like to stay together . I am now going to be running Pro RWD with our shop car which is a RWD Eclipse which once the bugs are worked out runins in the low 8's in the 1/4. I concentrate on competing with the Neon or the Roadrunner in this association for now. But if your car falls under one of those classes feel free to PM me and we can get you setup to make some money. We dont make money with our association all the entry fee's are 100% payback to the winners.

The only IHRA class that my car qualifies for is Hot Rod. As for NHRA, I don't think it meets any of their classes. It was built primarily as a bracket car. I will convert it into a Pro Street car some day. Last time the SNRA were here at Lakeland I didn't make it but I herd that about 60 cars showed up. Although it looks like I won't be able to participate in the next race here because of the changes, I'll be sure to go and enjoy the show. Good luck with whatever car you run.

The Super Street Association usually comes around with us that you could run your Hot Rod class if you want if you didnt know about that. Our next race is at Valdasta, im not 100% if the Super Street Assoc. is coming with us or not. I dont go to all of the races as much as I want to seeing Im still full time in school with a full time job with SBR. I goto as many as I can though.

How did it go? Alot of cars both racing and at the show? Just wondering. I wanted to go but my wife got a case of the A$$ cause I went to Lakeland on Thurs and Sat. So I stayed home and barbecued. The turnout should be an indicator to see if there's enough interest by the domestic crowd to hold future events. Maybe someone took photos or video and will post it for those of us that missed out.

Shane, Thanks for the info, Maybe thay's why I thought that they could fit you into a class. I didn't know the super street association ran together with but not a part of the Southern Sock Super Stock Association.
I know what you mean by not racing as much as you would like to. I have to make time for my wife, house, job and racing in that order.
