1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT
Engine: 3.0 V6 222 hp
Transmission: ATX 5 spd w/ OD
Title is clean and I am the second owner, its never been in an accident. I purchased it july of 2006 with just over 100k on it. I have put ~15k miles on it since purchasing it without a single problem.
Transmission was rebuilt at 102k by TRAMCO, have paperwork and shifts flawlessly through all gears.
I had the 120k suggested maintenance done at 103k:
Water pump w/ gaskets
Hydrolic Tensioner Pulley
4 Cam Seals
Both Accessory Belts
Front Oil Seal
INTRAX Springs w/ KYB Struts (less than 12k miles)
OEM Infiniti G35 18" Wheels
1994 Glass OEM Black Headlights (only year with glass headlights)
MOMO Hub & "Bride" Steering wheel.
CODE Alarm with remote start
Battery and alternator were replaced in 2006.
I want to be as honest as possible about this car and will answer any questions, I would rather not sell it but there are too many cars here and I just bought a van so selling the 3000GT that i drive once a week would be the responsible thing to do.
The paint overall is in pretty good shape for the cars age, the color is Galaxy White Pearl 3 stage and still makes me drool, but it does have your usual scratches scrapes and dings, if you want detailed photos let me know.
Photos from a quick wash last week since I was washing the van I just brought home.
The A/C Compressor was disconnected at the same time as the 120k service to replace the radiator/condenser and I lost the two bolts to reconnect the lines. I ordered a set and they didn't fit so I put the radiator back in and just haven't used AC. The heater works fine. If you can find out the cost to have a shop get those bolts and hook up the system/recharge and its reasonable we can work something out, maybe split it.
Due to being a hatchback I have used this car a few times to haul things so the interior is more worn than it used to be, I planned on replacing it with a leather interior in the future.
I will update this post with new photos but this is it a year ago.
The car is 13 years old and it is by nowhere near perfect so don't expect it to be.
It starts up every time and has never left me stranded, this car completely changed my mind about 3000GT's and is what inspired my purchase of a 91 VR4 while I was looking for parts to twin turbo this one.
If you are looking for power this car basically has the same engine as the VR4 (but higher compression ratio) and you can twin turbo it with stock VR4 parts for anywhere from $1-2k.
Includes OEM radio but no front speakers (rear has some chep 6x9's i believe but they are not hooked up)
I am not sure exactly where the title is as I never planned to sell this car but if I can't find it we can just go to the tax office together and have them issue a new one in the buyers name (they print it out right there for an extra $7, its on me :P)
It was too cold to vacuum out the interior today but I will clean it out and get some new pics soon.
I am asking $3900
