Heres the new Bmw M5, decided to post the video after my dad showed me the car he's buying. Cant wait until it gets here!!

awesome video. i was about to cry when the guy didnt like the 5 at first...figures he had something up his sleeve tho. LOL @ "M" mode. ridiculously badass vehicle there IMO. sat-nav lady "wire" would HAVE to be cut tho. bwahahahhaa.

one thing i cant help but notice tho, the Stig ran the M5 around the track alright..but it just wasnt enuf to outdo the EvoMR that was just a hair faster. WOW. thats money savings right there! mmmMMmMm, M5. thanks for the post Miguel. always LOVED valeting BMWs at my old jobs. never a dull moment. :D

Funny thing about Jeremy Clarkson; he pretty much hates BMW's. Been a known fact for a while now.

He doesnt like German cars that much becasue they focus intensly on engineering/fancy electronics. Its true they do lack some zest in their cars. BMW although has amazing engine and technology have not developed a Mid engine RWD sports cars since the M1 (the only MR BMW). INstesad they insit on taking a ordinary sedan like the 5 series, 3series coupe, 6 series and put amazing engines/technology in. The only german cars he likes are probalyl porsches...especially the Carrera GT. Not to mention Clarkson is a big British racing fanatic...like how americans like muscle cars. he will almost perfer a clunky Jaguar or old TVR or even a Ford GT because the original GT40 was a british made super racer. Hence why these italians love putting german engiens in there cars and they take care of the designing.

Ironically some of the Best BMWs are the ones not designed by BMW but use BMW's engines. Like the Mclaren F1 and the Ascari KZ1.

Tiff loves BMW..infact he ordered a M5 and was one of the first to take delivery.

And any BMW owner will tell you fancy electrionic systems are cool when they are all working properly. My dad hated his BMW because there was always somethign broken (mechanical or electrical) but when thery were all working correctly he loved it (rarely). But that was cutting edge technology in the 80s and this is cutting edge technology in 2005. i-drive looks like a pain in the ass.

And I thought there was a huge waiting list for M5s...good luck getting one.

When my uncle bought his M3 he was put onto a waiting list. The dealer called him to tell him his car was ready but he wanted the SMG tranny, Dealer said he would have to put his name to the back of the list for a SMG M3...pretty gay. Its a hot car to have for rich people so its not going to be easy getting one.
