I took a ride with him and it scared the crap out of me when he took off. I wasn't expecting it and then, BAM! took off like a bat out of hell!!.

With the crown in the road that we were on the car wanted to walk sideways. He was always pulling it to the left to keep it center.

HUH? The GTI and the R32 are way different. Same MKIV body style with some R32 treatments, but a different car underneath.
