obd2 code help on gti

three codes come up, p0102 which is the maf, i know that much.
and p2637 comes up twice, thats traction managment no signal or something like that. anyone have any info???

story goes that i took it to the track, 2 runs no issues, last run about the 1000 foot mark it looses all power and coasts across the line at an amazing 19.8 seconds. so now there is very little power, the gas pedal works for about 3 inches pushing down, then after that it does nothing more. also the car has no vibrations no abnormal feeling, only at shifts, its hard as hell which i think is a sticking valve body due to the stupid ass idea vw had to make sealed trannys. also the traction control light stays on (off) and wont turn back on (activated). and the abs modual whines at random times. more whine then not. any info is appreciated

Sounds like your car is in Limp mode! Its when your car is not running to its potential caused (usually) by a vaccuum leak (look for any hoses that popped off, any small vaccuum lines disconnected. You dont have a VagCom?

is that ur audi in ur avatar??? lol its my backround on my laptop.....pure sex.... but ya i took it to the vw dealer and its covered so its going to be ready tomorrow at 1. but no i dont have vagcom, i want it badly. i really do need it with this gti. i can get the cable on ebay if i had the program, but i cant afford it right now. unless someone could let me put it on my laptop for a small fee???

The Vag-Com software is free. You have to buy the cable from Ross-Tech. An ebay cable won't work.

id rather just get the program cuz i know ill need it more than once, i dont see why if i get sum one esles lisence for it why i cant get a cable from wherever to go from usb to obd2 port.....

I have that cable. license is built into the cable. You CAN NOT just get a cable from ebay, it WILL not work. There is no way around, but getting the cable from them.
